Eligibility Criteria for International Pilot Applicants 2026
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
• Must hold a valid passport from their country of citizenship.
• Age between 18–32 years old at the time of application, regardless of gender.
• Must have completed or be currently enrolled in high school (Grade 12 or equivalent).
• No history of criminal records or severe medical/mental health issues.
• Must possess basic English proficiency.
• Applicants are required to submit an official English proficiency test score within 30 days after registration.
Accepted English Proficiency Tests
• IELTS (Academic): Overall Band Score of 6.0 or higher
• Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 105 or higher
Additional Requirements
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English during the admission process.
• Must be physically and mentally fit, free from chronic diseases.
• Minimum height: 160 cm (for males) and 150 cm (for females), with a Body Mass Index (BMI) not exceeding 30.
• Must meet the health standards required to obtain an ICAO Medical Class 1 Certificate for pilot training eligibility.

International Pilot Training Program Plan
This project, initiated by FIA Global International, aims to provide educational opportunities for students worldwide to undergo aviation training in Canada. The program focuses on systematically and intensively developing aviation knowledge and skills to ensure students achieve academic success and ultimately reach their highest goal of becoming professional commercial pilots at the international level.

• Enroll in a flight training program approved by DLI.

Flight Hours
• During the course of study, students will accumulate approximately 200–250 flight hours.

• Opportunity to work as a Flight Instructor upon completing the program.
• Eligible to obtain a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), valid for 3 years.

• Accumulate additional flight hours while teaching, averaging 2–3 hours per day.

Steps for Preparing International Student Pilots
Detailed Schedule and Selection Process for the International Pilot Cadet ProgramTo help applicants fully understand the application process and prepare effectively, FIA Global International provides a comprehensive timeline and step-by-step selection procedure for international pilot cadets.We are the only international organization in Asia authorized to recruit and select international pilot cadets, utilizing the PSP (Pilot Selection Process) system.
STEP1
Pilot Selection Examination
The selection process for international pilot cadets follows international standards through both Admission and Direct Entry systems. The evaluation is conducted using the PSP (Pilot Selection Process), which includes both written examinations and interviews.

STEP2
Aviation Medical Examination for Student Pilots
After passing the written examination and interview, candidates are required to confirm their acceptance into the program and undergo a specialized aviation medical examination — International Student Pilot Medical Class I.
STEP3
Visa Application Process
After confirming your placement in the program, you will receive a PAL (Pre-Admission Letter) from the flight school. Our team will assist you in preparing and submitting the required documents for your visa application. The entire process will be handled and completed within approximately 45 days.
STEP4
Pre-Departure Preparation
Before beginning flight training, students may consult with the FIA Global International team regarding accommodation, daily living, and part-time work opportunities. Our support team will also be present to welcome and assist students upon arrival.

Administrative fee for visa processing, medical check-ups, and other services provided by the preparatory program prior to departure.
After the interview results are announced, students must confirm their placement by paying a non-refundable fee of 4% of the total tuition fee by October 30, 2025.
This fee covers the administrative costs for visa processing, issuance of the LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from the flight school (valid for 2 years), medical check-up (Medical Class I), background check, criminal record verification, visa application assistance, and a Welcome Pilot Freshers event in Canada,

First InstallmentPayment must be made via international transfer using SWIFT Code or by credit card only.
Students are required to pay 50% of the total tuition fee by November 15, 2025, directly to the selected flight school.
Once payment has been received, the flight school will issue the PAL (Pre-Arrival Letter) required for visa processing and medical examination.
If the visa application is unsuccessful, the flight school will refund 100% of the tuition fees paid, excluding the 4% administrative fee.

Payment must be made via international transfer using SWIFT Code, cash, or credit card.
The second installment, amounting to 25% of the total tuition fee, is due after students have completed 50% of the program. The payment is expected to be made approximately in the 7th to 8th month from the date of arrival in Canada and the start of training.

Payment must be made via international transfer using SWIFT Code, cash, or credit card.
The third and final installment, also 25% of the total tuition fee, is to be paid when students have completed more than 75% of the program. This payment must be made in full before completing the final phase of flight training.
