FIA PILOT® Announces 2027 Admissions for Flight Training at Montair Aviation, Canada

Applications open on 31 October 2026, with eight places available to aspiring pilots across Asia: six through the Admission 2027 selection process and two through Direct Entry.

FIA PILOT® is preparing to launch its 2027 student pilot admissions cycle, offering candidates across Asia the opportunity to pursue flight training in Canada at Montair Aviation.

The upcoming intake reflects FIA PILOT®’s commitment to connecting motivated students with international aviation education, with an emphasis on training standards, candidate readiness and a structured admissions process.

Eight Places, Two Admissions Routes

For the 2027 intake, FIA PILOT® will offer a total of eight places through two selection routes:

• Admission 2027 6 places: Available through the Asia-wide examination and selection process.

• Direct Entry 2 places: Available through a separate selection route for candidates who meet the applicable Direct Entry criteria.

Both routes are designed to identify candidates ready to take the next step towards professional pilot training. Direct Entry applicants will be assessed against the requirements for that route.

Flight Training in Canada at Montair Aviation

Successful candidates will progress towards enrolment at Montair Aviation in Canada, subject to meeting the school’s admission requirements and the applicable medical and visa requirements.

The planned intake gives aspiring Asian student pilots an opportunity to prepare for aviation careers through training in an international environment. FIA PILOT® will coordinate the admissions process and guide selected candidates through the next steps towards enrolment.
