FIA PILOT® Announces Official Partnership with Montair Aviation in Canada

FIA PILOT® announces its official partnership with Montair Aviation, connecting aspiring pilots across Asia with flight training opportunities in Canada ahead of the 2027 intake.

The partnership marks an important step in the development of the FIA PILOT® international training network. It brings together student selection and preparation through FIA PILOT® with flight training delivered by Montair Aviation.

For prospective students and their families, the collaboration provides a coordinated pathway from the admissions process towards enrolment at a Canadian flight school.

Connecting Asian Talent with Canadian Flight Training

FIA PILOT® and Montair Aviation share a goal of helping motivated candidates prepare for the demands of aviation training.

Within the partnership, FIA PILOT® will coordinate recruitment, candidate selection and preparation for enrolment. Montair Aviation will provide flight instruction and oversee students’ training at the school.

This cooperation supports communication between applicants, the admissions team and the training institution, helping students understand the requirements and responsibilities involved before beginning their studies.

Eight Places for the 2027 Intake

The FIA PILOT® Admission 2027 intake for Montair Aviation will offer eight places to eligible applicants across Asia:

• Six places through Admission 2027, involving an online written examination and subsequent selection stages.

• Two places through Direct Entry, subject to the published criteria for that route.

The online written examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, allowing applicants across Asia to participate without travelling to a physical examination centre.

Candidates progressing through the admissions route will also undergo an interview to assess their motivation, attitude and readiness for flight training.

Preparation with a Clear Purpose

The partnership reflects the importance of preparation before students enter the cockpit. Alongside academic readiness, applicants need to understand the commitment involved in overseas training, including tuition costs, living arrangements and personal responsibilities.

FIA PILOT® will help candidates navigate the admissions journey and coordinate the next steps with Montair Aviation. Final enrolment remains subject to the school’s acceptance and the applicable medical and visa requirements.
